As quality-oriented education put into practice in our country,more attention has been paid on mathematical culture.There have been two editions of senior high school curriculum standards since the 21 st century,and both of them have put forward the requirements for the integration of mathematical culture into the curriculum.As for the research method,the thesis adopts literature analysis method,comparative research method and content analysis method to make a comparative analysis of mathematical culture.In addition,the thesis also makes a comparative analysis of different types,distribution,writing purpose and requirements of mathematics culture in the textbooks of PEP(People's Education Press)and SEP(Shanghai Education Press).This thesis mainly solves the following problems:(1)What are the similarities and differences in the mathematical culture content between the new and old high school mathematics textbooks published by PEP and SEP ?(2)What are the similarities and differences in the distribution of mathematical culture between the new and old high school mathematics textbooks published by PEP and SEP ?(3)What are the similarities and differences in the mathematical culture application and the writing purpose and requirements between the new and old high school mathematics textbooks published by PEP and SEP ?(4)What are the suggestions in teaching implementation?Based on the comparative research,the conclusions of the thesis are as follows:(1)Both the old and new textbooks maintain the strong sense of "life" and "disciplinary" of mathematics culture,but the "historical" character is weak.The PEP(new)textbooks are richer in mathematical culture than the SEP(new)textbooks.(2)The new textbooks adjust different types of mathematical culture in different parts of textbooks.In the main body of theses textbooks,the mathematical culture is closely related to economics and daily life.In practice and exercise part,the mathematical culture is closely related to social life and natural science,especially to school subjects.There are more "historical events of mathematics" in the column of these textbooks,which aims at helping students understand the historical development of mathematics,highlighting the achievements of mathematics is resulted from the joint efforts of mathematics researchers.(3)The level of application of mathematical culture in the new textbooks,as well as the purpose of application,has been improved.The mathematical culture has been more related to contemporary topics,most of which are "inseparable" mathematical culture.In addition,students are required to write essays according to the "historical events of mathematics",as a way of understanding mathematical history.Based on the conclusions of this research,I generalizes the following suggestions in teaching:(1)Let the mathematical culture enter the classroom and strengthen its connection with other subjects.(2)Assign interdisciplinary tasks.(3)Encourage students to do mathematical writing.(4)Increase the attention to hot topics,focus on material accumulation, adaptation and innovation.
