In the upsurge of teacher professionalization,many foreign countries and regions have already experienced the transformation from teacher professional moral to teacher professional ethics.In order to promote the reform of the construction of the teaching team in the new era,and further strengthen the construction of teacher ethics and style,China has issued such texts as Measures for Handling of Violations of Professional Ethics by Primary and Secondary School Teachers and Ten Guidelines for Professional Conduct of Primary and Secondary School Teachers in the New Era,aiming to standardize Professional ethical behavior of primary and secondary school teachers.However,the behaviors of teachers in elementary and middle schools that violate teacher ethics are still endless,which exposes the problems existing in the norms of our country,such as the low degree of teachers' subject recognition,the weak guidance of education and teaching practice and the lack of ethics and professionalism.Due to the high abstractedness and strict logic of mathematics,the problems of students' differences in mathematics learning and educational equity in the field of basic education are more serious than other subjects.Therefore,this study selects middle school math teachers as the main survey object,combined with the perspective of middle school students and parents,and investigates the negative professional ethics of middle school math teachers recognized by multiple subjects,so as to better promote the construction of professional ethics standards for middle school math teachers,and conduct targeted professional ethics education for middle school math teachers.This paper identifies the following two research issues by combing and analyzing the relevant literature:(1)What are the negative behaviors of teachers' professional ethics put forward in the relevant texts at home and abroad?(2)What are the negative professional ethical behaviors of middle school math teachers recognized by middle school math teachers and related stakeholders?(3)What kind of negative professional ethical behaviors exist for middle school math teachers in the teaching process?First of all,this paper combs the research status through literature research method,defines core concepts such as teacher professional ethics and negative behavior of middle school math teachers' professional ethics,and determines the research method and process.Secondly,this paper adopts text analysis method to analyze the written teacher professional ethics codes from China Mainland,Taiwan,Hong Kong and the United States,and then sorts out the negative behaviors of teacher professional ethics involved in the texts.Then,this study uses the questionnaire survey method,supplemented by the interview method,to survey middle school math teachers,middle and high school students and parents,in order to obtain the middle school math teachers' professional ethical negative behaviors recognized by the teachers,students and parents.Based on the teachers' professional ethics norms in various countries and the negative behaviors of teachers' professional ethics involved in the literature,three main questionnaires were compiled.The Likert five-level scale was used to investigate the recognition degree of teachers and students on each item in the questionnaire.The basic analysis standard was that the average recognit ion degree was greater than 3 and the standard deviation was less than 1.Combined with the distribution of teachers' and students' opinions,the negative professional ethical behaviors of middle school math teachers recognized by teachers and students are screened out.Parents adopted an open questionnaire,and selected the behaviors whose frequency was no less than 10 after the combined answers of the three questions as the negative behaviors of middle school math teachers' professional ethics recognized by parents.Based on the survey results of the three subjects,the list of negative professional ethical behaviors of middle school math teachers identified by multiple subjects was analyzed and formed.Finally,this article applies the case analysis method,combined with the interview method,from the perspective of teaching ethics,combined with the middle school mathematics teaching situation and mathematics teaching content that the author observes in class,selects the more typical cases in the teaching content design and teaching evaluation activities,respectively based on the ethical meaning of teaching content and teaching evaluation and their corresponding analytical framework,analyze the ethical cognition and behavior of middle school math teachers in the case,and highlight the ethical problems of middle school math teachers in the process of education and teaching.Through the above research,a four-dimensional list of negative professional ethical behaviors of middle school math teachers recognized by multiple subjects has been obtained.In view of the research results,this paper puts forward constructive suggestions from two aspects: the formulation of teachers' professional ethics and the professional ethics education of middle school math teachers.
