Education in colleges and universities is an important stage of development of education in our country, university teachers’ ethics level is a direct factors influence the success or failure of the education of institutions of higher learning.To improve the level of teachers’ virtue in colleges and universities is the key to teachers, teacher’s ethics standard is its guarantee.Although the education administrative department of the current our country and some universities have enacted and implemented the university teachers’ professional ethics, but the teacher misconduct, the anomie of events and phenomena are still frequently occur, and even become the focus of public opinion, the people have to reflect on the feasibility and effectiveness of the current our country university teachers norms.Based on the analysis of the current implementation of the university teachers’ professional ethics in our country, through the contrast analysis with foreign ethics norms: university teachers’ professional ethics in our country is not clear the core value of teaching, a teacher by worthy example, the lack of specific operational ethics standard content and method, so that the teacher’s ethics norms on the overall lack of systemic and levels;Second, due to the bondage of traditional ethical thinking,university teachers has not been transformed from the identification ethics to professional ethics, ethics standard content to cater to the high moral requirements of the society, for a long time not to take into account the reality of the basic characteristics of college teachers, requirement and related all kinds of ethical relationship.Therefore,formulate a scientific and reasonable, standard to guide the ethics of university teachers’ behavior is particularly urgent and important.To achieve this goal, the author thinks that, should first clarify the subject status of teachers in colleges and universities in terms of setting norms, give full play to the enthusiasm and initiative of university teachers;Second, standard setters should be implemented from the "moral thinking" to "ethical thinking" transformation, adhere to the "reality" and "ought to" unity, as well as from the ethical relationships with teachers relate to mining strong operability of rules, norms and specific methods, and to stand in the level of social moral requirements for teachers in colleges and universities put forward the corresponding and realistic statute.In addition, formulate a specification based on our country’s basic national conditions, to keep up with the development trend of specialization of teachers in colleges and universities teachers’ professional characteristics is made.
