The new era calls for new education.Educators running schools and cultivating "educational-type teachers" are important issues to be faced in the process of China's education reform in the new era,which are rooted in the strong historical context and the rich soil of reality.Tracing back to history,"saving the country through education" is an unignorable brand of The Times in the reform process of modern China.It is a goal that a group of education workers and advanced intellectuals with a sense of danger waved the flag and shouted and worked together to realize.Based on the reality,"education power" is an indispensable key link in the process of stepping into the new era of reform to help achieve the "Chinese dream",which endow the current education community with a new strategic task for development.The theme of this study is "The Life Course of Educators",which is based on the famous contemporary American sociologist G.H.From the perspective of life course theory proposed and constructed by Elder in the context of the whole social crisis in the Great Depression.At the same time,based on the important time opportunity of the centenary of the founding of the Party in 2021,this paper takes Chen Duxiu,"the main founder of the Communist Party of China",as a case study to analyze his educational achievements and influences in modern China and explore his life course as an educator.The logical path of "personal research interests--collecting and integrating materials--establishing theoretical framework--analyzing and writing content--summarizing and concluding conclusions" was developed in turn.First of all,I preliminarily integrate Chen Duxiu's educational writings based on my own research interests.Secondly,through the field investigation of Chen Duxiu's life and work in Shanghai,Anqing and Beijing,the author made an in-depth study of the real historical materials.Finally,based on Elder's life course theory,this paper constructs the structure of the body of the paper,and organically combines Chen Duxiu's educational life,educational practice and educational thoughts,to restore an objective and comprehensive image of Chen Duxiu as an educator.This study can not only pry into the life course of educator Chen Duxiu,thus summing up the historical value of his educational achievements in the development of modern China,but also provide practical significance for the development of education reform and the training of educators in the new era.On the other hand,the reason why educators become educators from uniqueness to universality is mainly due to their times,sociality and subjectivity reflected in the development of individual life process.Under the background of the development of The Times,educators can always timely respond to The Times and lead The Times with education,actively construct social relations network in the process of educational action,and then give full play to their subjectivity,and establish a rich and dynamic life course of educators.
