The Impact Of College Students' Future Time Perspective On Job Search Results

Job search results refers to the result of a job seeker after going through a series of job search processes,which include subjective job satisfaction and the sum of the number of interviews and employment offers.Job seeking and employment,as the foundation of people's livelihood,have been widely concerned by the state and the community.As a bridge between study and career,college students' job search and its influencing factors have always been the focus of scholars.Under the background of the COVI-19 epidemic in 2020 and more severe employment situation,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to explore the current situation of College Students' job search results and its influencing factors.In addition,the study of job search results and its influencing factors is not only conducive to understand the current situation of College Students' job search,but also can increase or inspire college students' effective job search behavior and cognition from the influencing factors,which has certain practical significance for promoting their career development.Based on the theory of career construction,this study studies the influence of future time perspective,career adaptability and career exploration on job search results of college graduates and its mechanism.Through the questionnaire survey of 800 graduating college students in Shanghai,Guangdong,Guangxi,Henan and other universities,765 valid questionnaires were obtained.The data were statistically analyzed by using spss22.0 and amos24.0.The results are as follows:(1)On the whole,except for the job search results,the future time perspective,career adaptability and career exploration of college students are in the upper middle level;(2)In terms of demographic variables,this paper analyzes the differences in college students' future time perspective,career adaptability,career exploration and job search results,and finds that there are significant differences in college types in college students' future time perspective,career adaptability,career exploration and job search results.(3)College Students' future time perspective,career adaptability,career exploration and job search results are significantly correlated.Among them,career adaptability and career exploration play a complete intermediary role in future time perspective and job search results;career adaptability and career exploration play a chain intermediary role in future time perspective and job search results.The research shows that college students' employment results are influenced by future time perspective,career adaptability and career exploration.The research provides empirical evidence for understanding the career development of college students in China,and has certain practical significance for promoting the career development and career planning of college students.
