With the rapid development of society,China has carried out the eighth educational curriculum reform.The newly revised textbook is the actual product of curriculum reform.Only by deeply analyzing the new textbook can we realize the spiritual essence of curriculum reform.The A edition of Human Education is the most widely used textbook at present.In this paper,the content of the compulsory part of probability and statistics in the A edition of Human Education published in 2004 and2019 is taken as the research object.It is hoped that the conclusions and teaching suggestions can help teachers to teach probability and statistics,even other chapters.Based on this,this paper uses literature research method,comparative research method and other teaching materials comparison methods,from the following six parts of the comparative study.In the first part,the background of the textbook and the teaching background of probability statistics are deeply understood,and the problems and significance to be studied in this paper are clarified.In the second part,we define the concept of teaching materials,find and read the relevant literature on the compilation and comparison of mathematics textbooks,the development of probability statistics teaching and the comparative analysis of statistics and probability compulsory parts in new and old mathematics textbooks.The third part,clearly describes the research object and research methods,expounds the research ideas and draws a concise and clear research framework.The fourth part is the core part of the full text.Firstly,the change of probability and statistical compulsory part in the new and old curriculum standard is compared and analyzed.Then the author makes a comparative analysis of the knowledge system and content arrangement,the column setting,the introduction of chapters,the presentation of concepts and properties,and the form of review at the end of the chapter.The fifth part compares the course depth,breadth,difficulty and difficulty analysis of the two editions.The sixth part summarizes this article,then systematically and pertinently puts forward some suggestions to the first-line teachers to use the new teaching material to teach the compulsory knowledge of probability statistics.The research shows that the specific content of the new textbook has made corresponding adjustments in order to undertake the change of curriculum standard.The structure of the two editions is not different from the number and type of each column,and "induction" is the unique column of the new textbook.The new textbook inherits the basic characteristics of the old textbook,adjusts the setting of the problem,the language in all kinds of question boxes is more rigorous,the statement of the example is more concise,and the expression of the definition and nature is more accurate.In addition,the knowledge breadth and depth of the new textbook increase,the difficulty of problem synthesis increases slightly,and the problem type adds judgment and proof questions.The choice of the background of the topic pays more attention to the times,contact with the actual life,and the knowledge of each topic is more comprehensive.It is beneficial to cultivate students' mathematics core accomplishment and innovation consciousness.This research hopes to carry on the quantitative analysis from the new and old two edition teaching materials,thus puts forward the related suggestion for the teacher to use the teaching material: to strengthen the understanding to the statistical content,can grasp the statistical discipline characteristic from the whole;pay attention to the different request of the same knowledge in the early and high school;cultivate the data analysis accomplishment in the problem solving;use the mathematics software to improve the classroom efficiency;understand the characteristic of probability theory,grasp the logical relation of the whole;attach importance to the mathematical abstraction of the core concept;can not ignore the emphasis of mathematics culture...
