In recent years,Chinese immersion program in elementary schools of Utah has developed rapidly,and its unique teaching mode has aroused widespread concern in the field of Chinese teaching.The teaching goal of this mode is not only to improve the students' Chinese level,but also to require the students who participate in the immersion program to have no lower academic level in English and other subjects than the students who are in the regular classes of the same grade.This means that,compared with students in regular classes,students in Chinese immersion classes have to learn one more language during the same school hours.Therefore,the teaching time of Chinese immersion classroom is very valuable,and teachers need to optimize classroom teaching to improve teaching efficiency.Through questionnaire survey and interview,this paper aims to understand the current situation of Chinese immersion classroom teaching in elementary schools in Utah,and summarizes the problems existing in Chinese immersion classroom.Based on the problem-oriented,this paper aims at the imbalance of students' Chinese level development,teachers' difficulty in dealing with complex teaching tasks,poor integration of Chinese and other subjects,inadequate use of Chinese textbooks,insufficient utilization of Chinese environment and lack of enough interaction in Chinese immersion classroom.This paper puts forward the construction of multiple interaction mode from the perspective of the relationship between different interactive subjects and multiple intelligence types,expounds the feasibility of its application in Chinese immersion classroom,and puts forward relevant suggestions for its implementation through specific teaching practice.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part mainly expounds the research background,research significance,theoretical basis and related research status,and states the research methods and innovations of this paper.The second part is to understand the current situation of Chinese immersion classroom teaching in elementary schools in Utah through questionnaires and interviews with teachers and students participating in the Chinese immersion program.The third part summarizes the problems which exists in Chinese immersion class in Utah elementary schools and analyzes the reasons.The fourth part optimizes the Chinese immersion class in Utah elementary schools by constructing the multiple interaction mode.This part analyzes the feasibility of the application of the multiple interaction mode in the Chinese immersion class,puts forward specific implementation strategies,and carries out the specific classroom teaching implementation.The fifth part mainly puts forward some improvement suggestions for the feedback of Chinese immersion classroom teaching in Utah elementary schools.The result shows that multiple interaction helps to reduce students' the individual differences,to stimulate teachers' teaching ideas,to coordinate the relationship between Chinese and other subjects,to improve the use efficiency of teaching materials and classroom environment.
