With the continuous development of Chinese teaching all over the world,Chinese immersion teaching has become one of the most influential and popular Chinese teaching modes.Especially in the United States,Chinese immersion programs are booming.Among them,the Chinese immersion program in Utah is developing rapidly and has become one of the leading programs in the industry.The Chinese immersion teaching in Utah is very characteristic,which is favored by the majority of students' parents.Based on the author's teaching experience in the Chinese immersion program of Fiddlers Canyon Elementary School,a public elementary school in Utah,and taking the elementary school as the representative,this paper puts forward reflections and analyses on the Chinese immersion program teaching in Utah,USA,and accordingly puts forward suggestions for the development of Chinese teaching.The main content of this paper is divided into five parts: The first chapter introduces the origin of the topic,the significance and purpose of the topic,the research status at home and abroad and the determination of relevant concepts.It is pointed out that this paper intends to analyze the success and significance of the current Chinese immersion teaching model in Utah through the author's real experience.The second chapter mainly introduces the overall development of Chinese immersion teaching in the United States,the current development of Chinese immersion teaching in Utah,as well as the main situation of Fiddlers Canyon Elementary School and the development of Chinese immersion teaching.The third chapter explains the characteristics of Fiddlers Canyon Elementary School's Chinese immersion classroom teaching from five aspects: the realization of teaching objectives,teaching language,teaching content,classroom management and teaching environment.The fourth chapter takes Fiddlers Canyon Elementary School as an example,and puts forward some thoughts on the immersive Chinese classroom teaching in primary schools in Utah,mainly analyzing the effectiveness and existing problems of the project.The fifth chapter is the enlightenment of Chinese immersion teaching in elementary schools in Utah.It analyzes and summarizes the development of Chinese immersion development and non-immersion Chinese teaching in other areas,and puts forward constructive enlightenment for Chinese immersion teaching and various Chinese teaching according to the excellent results and lessons of the project.Conclusion part summarizes the content of the paper,the current study of Chinese immersion teaching are increased,the author according to own actual work experience and field survey as the basis,carries on the analysis and research,hope for the future in other parts of the Chinese immersion teaching development and the development of the whole teaching Chinese as a foreign language in China has reference significance.
