In recent years,with the vigorous development of Chinese language teaching and worldwide cultural communication,how to improve the quality of classroom teaching activities and carry out targeted country-specific Chinese teaching activities has become a focus in the international Chinese teaching circle.As the country with the largest number of Confucius institutes,the United States presents diversified characteristics in Chinese teaching mode.In the field of Chinese teaching in primary and secondary schools,conventional Chinese classroom teaching method coexists with Chinese immersion teaching program.However,at present,there are few research results on the Chinese immersive programs in the academic circle,and the research on comparative analysis of the two methods is even less involved.Under such a background,this paper,taking 3 teachers of the Chinese class in a regular elementary school and 3 teachers of a primary school with Chinese immersion programs as the research objects.Considering the general concept in modern language teaching standards,to design the teaching activities,learning activities and the activities of the quality of the three dimensions.On the basis of recording,the investigation units are divided,and the quantitative and qualitative analysis is carried out from the perspective of "teaching" and "learning",so as to discuss some characteristics of teaching activities in the regular Chinese class and immersion Chinese project class in the USA.This paper is mainly composed of five parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,research significance and research innovation,and summarizes the relevant result of research.The second chapter is the research design,which introduces and explains the research objective,research object,research steps and research methods of this paper.Chapter three and chapter four are parallel chapters,respectively investigating and analyzing the units of teaching activities in conventional Chinese classes and immersion Chinese teaching projects from three dimensions.The fifth chapter is a comparative analysis of the two teaching models.In the sixth chapter I draw the corresponding conclusions.
