A Study On The Bad Behaviors And Habits Of Children Who Have Been Relocated By Group Work

Under the background of relocation policy,the life of relocated households in the new community has become the focus.Children are more susceptible to this change because their physical and mental development is not yet mature.On the basis of combing the related literature such as bad behaviors and habits of relocated children,the author collected data by interview and observation,and found that it is difficult for relocated children to change their behaviors,living habits and health concepts,and many bad behaviors and habits appeared,which have a great impact on their life,growth and development.Firstly,through the observation and interview of 10 relocated children,it is determined that the relocated children have bad behavior habits;Secondly,interview the relocated children,their parents,and the workers in the relocated community,and go to the household with the community workers to observe their words and deeds in life,so as to further confirm that children have bad behaviors such as not paying attention to personal hygiene,poor learning attitude,and impoliteness.Then,the causes of the bad behaviors and habits of the relocated children are analyzed from four aspects: individual,family,school and community.Finally,based on behaviorism theory and social learning theory,combined with the practice of group work,the problem of bad behavior habits in life,study and interpersonal etiquette of relocated children is intervened.In the process of intervention,the author designed seven group activities with different themes to intervene in the correction of bad behaviors and habits of relocated children.After the intervention of the group work,the author evaluates the process and results of the group work.The group work method has a positive effect on correcting the bad behavior habits of the children involved in the relocation,and the children’s bad behavior habits have been improved,and gradually develop good behavior habits under the mutual supervision of the team members.At last,this paper makes a research and reflection: the group work method has the disadvantages that social workers can’t use the group skills flexibly and the group cycle is short in the correction of the bad behavior habits of the relocated children.However,it also has positive influence among peer groups and positive effect of entertaining,which has a positive effect on correcting the bad behavior habits of the team members.
