A Practical Study On Group Work Of Promoting Children’s People Skills In Relocation To Poverty Alleviation Areas

Children’s stage is the key period of human socialization,and its growth process is influenced by various socialization factors and has uncertainty.With the gradual improvement of relocation community construction in China,the healthy growth and comprehensive quality development of relocation children have attracted more and more attention.In the relocation community,many children in the social environment,lifestyle has undergone tremendous changes in the context of communication,such as the lack of adaptive capacity.Therefore,it is necessary to help children in relocated communities to improve their People skills,which is beneficial to the healthy development of children.In this paper,we choose the children in s community as the research object,and try to use social learning theory and group dynamics theory as the guidance,a practical study on People skills of children in relocation community using group work method.According to the survey,children in the S community have significant problems with People skills,mainly for the lack of initiative,communication skills,the existence of communication psychological barriers,lack of pro-social capacity and so on.In view of the existing problems,this paper analyzes the relevant factors that affect the People skills of children in the relocation community,and designs the group work intervention program based on the needs of the improvement of children’s communicative ability,group work was carried out on the themes of “It’s good to meet you”,“The way you see me”,“Like your friends”,“Make friends”,“Experience trust”and “Always be friends”.Research has shown that group work has a significant effect on the improvement of children’s People skills through the involvement of three dimensions of group work:interpersonal communication,interpersonal regulation and interpersonal perception,the communication initiative,communication skills,communication mental health and prosocial behavior of the relocated children were improved obviously.Therefore,we should pay more attention to the professional services of social workers to the children in relocation communities,continuously expand social resources,optimize the professional service ability,and promote the all-round development and healthy growth of children in relocation communities.
