The partially-edited primary school Chinese textbook sets up four reading strategy units in the first term of each school year from grades 4 to 6,and selects four reading strategies that can promote students' reading comprehension and are suitable for students' learning-questioning strategies,predictive strategies,and speed Reading strategies with a purpose and a purposeful reading strategy help students to transform from others' leading reading to autonomous and purposeful reading.As the last reading strategy unit,"Purposeful Reading Unit" is a summary and improvement of previous reading strategy units,and has attracted the attention of many experts and scholars.However,it has been less than two years since the "targeted reading unit" was released.Due to various reasons,frontline teachers still have many problems in the teaching of this unit.In view of this,the author uses questionnaires,interviews,and classroom observation methods to understand the teaching status quo of the "targeted reading unit",and analyzes the problems that teachers have in the unit's teaching based on the survey results,and then proposes corresponding improvement countermeasures.Provide reference for the actual teaching of frontline teachers.Through the analysis of the survey results,it is found that the main problems in the teaching of "targeted reading unit" in elementary school Chinese are: teachers' incomplete understanding of "targeted reading unit",too many teachers use dominant strategies,and students lack independence Insufficient demonstration of thinking and strategy operation process,lack of guidance on reading ideas,one-sided teaching evaluation content,and single evaluation subject.The reasons for the corresponding problems include: teachers prepare lessons mainly for teaching implementation,neglect the interpretation of textbooks,question students' ability of self-learning strategies,the teaching mode is conservative,utilitarianism-led teaching,and the essence of strategy teaching is unknownThe concept of teaching evaluation is backward,ignoring the regulating function of evaluation.In view of the problems in the teaching status of the "targeted reading unit",corresponding improvement measures are proposed: establish the awareness of studying the textbook,strengthen the interpretation of the "targeted reading unit",respect the status of the students as the subject,build a support for students to learn by themselves,and overcome utilitarianism.Attach importance to the demonstration and guidance of reading ideas and multiple teaching evaluations to promote the development of students' reading ability.
