Textbooks are essential carriers for physics teaching to enrich subject knowledge and methods,and to consolidate the course teaching properly.The two sides of the Taiwan Straits have the same ethnic and profound cultural origins.Through the comparative studies of the four editions of physics textbooks on both sides,we can benefit each other and promote the development of physics teaching.This thesis selects physics textbooks for the senior high schools from the Chinese mainland,Sinan,Taiwan Hanlin and Longteng editions as the research objects.Based on the theory of physical science core literacy,we apply literature method,comparison method,questionnaire survey method,and interview method,as well as combine the curriculum standard to investigate the core knowledge structure about the principles of electromagnetism taught in the high schools.The contents are also related to the individual writing mentality,the description of the concepts and laws,experiment design,and scientific reasoning.Based on the Sinan edition,it optimizes and integrates teaching resources,designs teaching cases and conducts teaching practice.Use questionnaire surveys and student interviews to qualitatively test the teaching effect.It is found that the curriculum standards in China's mainland are more selective in physics courses,more basic;more emphasis is placed on the cultivation of scientific inquiry ability;and the close connection between physics and life is emphasized.Taiwan physics curriculum is more difficult,attaching great importance to course cohesion and cross-subject integration,and connecting great importance to the educational value of the history of science,and pay attention to broaden the breadth and depth of the concept,and make it more comprehensive.According to the comparative analysis results of each core knowledge point,the corresponding teaching suggestions are provided.The practice shows that the new teaching method with the integration of materials has a positive influence on the cultivation of students' core quality of physics to some extent.
