A Comparative Study On The Technical And Tactical Characteristics Of Outstanding Domestic Table Tennis Players Fan Zhendong, Lin Gaoyuan And Liang Jingkun

This article takes the technical and tactical characteristics of the outstanding table tennis players Zhendong Fan,Jingkun Liang,and Gaoyuan Lin as the research objects,using the combination of five research methods,i.e.,literature data method,mathematical statistics method,video observation method,four-phase indicator evaluation method,and comparative analysis method.The technical and tactical characteristics of Zhendong Fan,Jingkun Liang,and Gaoyuan Lin have been analyzed and studied in 24 major games in 2019 and 2020.The characteristics of the three athletes' technical and tactical play are summarized,thus to provide a theoretical reference for the three athletes' future training and competition.It is concluded that:1.In the overall assessment of the Four Phases of the game,Zhendong performs very well in the fourth phase,and the serving-attack phase is his advantage;Jingkun does well in two stalemate phases and catch-up phase,while his start-up phase is relatively weak.Gaoyuan is relatively inferior in the catch-up phase,and performs better in the other three phases.Zhendong's scoring average in all the fourth phase is higher than Jingkun and Gaoyuan,and the overall strength is better than Jingkun and Gaoyuan.2.In the service round,the three players serve mainly short shots,combined with a few long shots.Zhendong's serves mainly focus on forehand and down-the-middle short shots,while Jingkun's and Gaoyuan's serves mainly focus on down-the-middle short shots.Zhendong overall serving performance is the best.In the third cricket,Jingkun and Gaoyuan are more proactive,while Zhendong focuses on stability,with more control and effective control.Zhendong uses short swings and backhands more in the third cricket,Jingkun focuses more on backhands,and Gaoyuan mainly plays backhands and short swings.Zhendong's third cricket is mainly down-the-middle long shot and forehand long shot.Jingkun and Gaoyuan both use the down-the-middle long ball more.Zhendong performs the best in the third cricket,Jingkun performs the worst,and Gaoyuan has the highest quality of the third cricket.Zhendong's first-and-third-cricket tactics are mainly about short serve and control,while Jingkun and Gaoyuan mainly use short serve attack.Short serve attack is the most important way of scoring for the three athletes.Zhendong uses relatively balanced forehands and backhands on the fifth cricket,and uses more control techniques than the other two athletes.Jingkun and Gaoyuan mainly use backhands.Zhendong performes best in the fifth cricket and Jingkun performes the worst.Zhendong and Gaoyuan play well in the last cricket of the stalemate I without the fifth cricket,Jingkun is relatively disadvantaged in this state.The three athletes have a high backhand usage rate,and the backhand technique is the technique that causes the most points losses,i.e.,the scoring average is less than 50%.3.In the receiving round,Zhendong has more control techniques and effective control.Jingkun and Gaoyuan are more active in receiving the serve.Zhendong mainly uses the short swing when receiving the serve,Jingkun plays the twisting and short swing the most,and Gaoyuan focuses on the short swing and twisting,most of the three athletes receive the serve in down-the-middle short shots.Zhendong's performance is the best,and Jingkun's performance is the worst.The scoring average of the three players in the fourth cricket does not exceed 50%.Zhendong performs the best and is more advantageous among the three players,while Gaoyuan performs the worst.In the fourth cricket,the three players mainly use backhands and forehands as supplement.In the second-and-fourth-cricket tactics,Zhendong focuses on attacking after the control,and Jingkun and Gaoyuan focus on attacking after the attack.Zhendong's attacking performance is outstanding after the attack,and Jingkun's performance is more outstanding in the attack after control.Zhendong and Jingkun play better in the final cricket of the stalemate II section,and they are more advantageous,while Gaoyuan's performance is relatively poor.The three athletes focus mainly on backhand,with forehand as supplementary,also,Jingkun's usage of forehand and backhand is more balanced.
