With the rapid development of science and technology and modern information technology,multimedia technology has injected new blood and new impetus into education in the new era,and is highly respected and loved by teachers and students in the application of many disciplines.However,in the process of swimming training,there is not much research on how to make use of the advantages of multimedia teaching to help coaches and trainees and improve their sports performance and sports effect.This paper aims at the application of multimedia teaching methods in breaststroke teaching,and discusses whether the application of multimedia technology has obvious differences compared with traditional teaching methods,such as learning interest and technical improvement of swimming beginners,hoping to enrich swimming teaching theory and provide practical and theoretical reference for swimming training or swimming beginner teaching.In this paper,40 freshmen in Zhongxian Swimming Pool of Chongqing were investigated by using the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey,teaching experiment and comparative analysis.They were divided into experimental group and control group,one of which was added with multimedia-assisted teaching,and the other group adopted the previous demonstration teaching method.Make sure that the two groups of students have the same physical conditions such as sex,age,height,weight,breaststroke foundation and other physical qualities such as vital capacity and sitting posture flexion.After teaching the students for 18 hours,compare the breathing skills,breaststroke leg skills,arm skills,complete coordination skills and swimming distance of the two groups of students.The study found that:1.Application of multimedia teaching in children's breaststroke training class,the standard technical movements of breaststroke collected online are displayed by projector,so that students have a certain understanding of the technical movements of breaststroke.Taking pictures of students' breaststroke exercises by using underwater and underwater photographic equipment,based on the shooting results,the shortcomings of students are analyzed and corrected.The teaching effect of the experimental group is better than that of the control group.2.Multimedia technology has obvious advantages in swimming teaching.It can not only effectively transmit information in multiple ways,but also has good judgment and comment functions.It can make full use of and establish a feedback mechanism in technical evaluation,so as to achieve the purpose of diagnosing students' mastery of breaststroke technology and correcting wrong technical actions.Multimedia teaching method can be widely applied to children's breaststroke training.3.The application of multimedia teaching in children's breaststroke training class plays a positive role in improving children's breaststroke skills,learning interest and basic physical fitness.Especially in breaststroke technique,compared with the control group with traditional teaching method,it is greatly improved.
