Rejuvenation relys on teachers,and to develop education must first strengthen teachers.Teachers' professional development is the inexhaustible driving force for the development of teachers and the solid guarantee for the development of students and schools.This study selects the research framework of TALIS(teaching and learning international survey)developed by OECD,and investigates the current situation of primary and secondary school teachers' professional development in Zhangwan District of Shiyan City through questionnaire and interview.It is found that the professional development of primary and secondary school teachers in Zhangwan district has formed the following beneficial experiences: sufficient investment guarantee for teachers' professional development,strict access standards for teachers;teachers pay attention to the combination of scientific ideas and classroom practice,and attach importance to the position and needs of students;the school has strong open and cooperative atmosphere,and various measures to meet the teachers' teaching glory However,there are still some to be improved such as the lack of systematic design and implementation of teachers' professional development activities,the lack of investment structure for teachers' professional development,and the lack of systematic design and implementation of teachers' professional development activities,the lack of teachers' professional development evaluation and feedback utilization,the lack of pertinence of teacher training and communication,and so on.Based on these,the author points that it can be optimized from several dimensions of teachers,schools and education administrative departments.Teachers should actively implement their own professional development awareness into specific actions,actively participate in professional development activities according to individual needs,and enhance the awareness of professional cooperation and communication.Schools should give full play to the leading role of principals,build a good atmosphere to improve teaching quality The educational administrative departments should strengthen the cooperation with local normal universities,set up a number of teacher development schools,protect the effective time of teachers,optimize the job rotation of teachers,reform the teaching and research methods,establish network of famous teachers' working rooms and curriculum resources,and optimize the methods and contents of teacher training.
