Each major educational reform has its own corresponding historical background. Duringthe past ten years, every teacher participates in the basic educational reform. Meanwhile, theyinterpret the educational philosophy that educational reform not only relies on educationdepartment and experts, but also on teachers. This article is a real report on Ideological andMoral Education in the junior high school.This thesis elaborated mainly from five aspects:In the first part, it gives us a definition of practical activities and practical activities aboutIdeological and moral discipline. It reveals the aim and significance of this study. Aftersummarizing the previous studies on “activities developed in Ideological and MoralEducation in the junior high school”, we may found omission existed in relevant study andstate the main problems to be solved in this essay.In the second part, the author makes a survey on practical activities developed inIdeological and Moral Education in the junior high school. Through the survey, someproblems are founded. For one thing, different opinions from the nation, school, family andstudents on education aim influence the development of practical activities. For another, somepractical activities are just carried on formally so that real effect can not be reached. Finally,in the teaching process, the concept in the school is lagged behind, and the resources and timeare limited. The factors above may hinder the development the practical activities.In the third part, the author illustrates the measures to develop the practical activitiesrelated to Ideological and Moral Education in the junior high school. In this section, theauthor also states how to establish the concept of teachers’ practice, how to establish teachers’role and divisions of tasks about it. Meanwhile, the author explores the types and requiresrelated to the study, according to teachers’ teaching case combined with practical activities.In the fourth part, pointed to the difficulties and key points of practice, the thesisdeveloped an active exploration on students’ evaluation, and found a proper way of carryingout the evaluation main body diversify, developing the evaluation methods diversify andrealizing the evaluation contents personalized. Attach importance on the process, and considerthe results, in order to promote the further development of practice.In the fifth part, in order to put forward the development of practical activities, the authorgives some urgent suggestions on developing practical activities in Ideological and MoralEducation in the junior high school, at the same time, some urgent problems needed toresolved are depicted in this part.
