The teaching of biology, especially when it comes to teaching in high schools offine arts, is not only aimed at developing students’ scientific literacy, but also enhancingtheir aesthetic taste. Through learning, students are guided to sense the beauty,appreciate the beauty and find out the world aesthetically, so that they eventually get thecompetence to create more beauties.Based on the connotations of aesthetic education, along with my researches oncurrent situation of aesthetic education and biology education from both home andabroad, I have been exploring the value and the content of aesthetic education forbiology teaching and seeking basic principles and strategies of aesthetic infiltration inhigh schools of fine arts. Through a series of teaching experiments, I humbly draw theconclusion that the combination of aesthetic education and biology education isfundamental to these fine art schools, which definitely contributes much to theimprovement of intellectual education, and the development of aesthetic appreciation aswell.
