Group reading is a popular teaching method in recent years.It has been applied in many fields such as ancient poems,novels and essays in Chinese teaching.It can effectively improve students' reading speed and expand students' reading volume,which brings new vitality to Chinese teaching.However,there are relatively few researches on the application of group reading in the teaching of new poetry in senior high school.The study of new poetry can cultivate students' aesthetic taste,improve students' literary appreciation ability and enrich students' spiritual world.However,in high school Chinese textbooks,the selection of new poems is relatively small,teachers and students pay less attention to the teaching of new poems than other styles,and the teaching methods are relatively single.Therefore,it combines "group reading" with high school Chinese new poetry teaching,and strives to improve the current teaching status of high school Chinese new poetry teaching,providing new teaching concepts and teaching methods for high school Chinese new poetry teaching,and expanding the application scope of group reading in Chinese teaching,which is also one of the innovation points of this paper.The first through the design of a questionnaire survey of the current situation of high school Chinese new poetry teaching,the current high school Chinese new poetry teaching problems,and analysis of its reasons.Then,from the requirements of "Chinese Curriculum Standards for General Senior High School",the characteristics of new poetry in Chinese textbooks for senior high school,and the promoting effect of group reading on new poetry teaching,this paper analyzes the necessity of applying group reading in new poetry teaching.Secondly,a comprehensive overview of the teaching of new poetry group reading in high school Chinese,including the teaching objectives of new poetry group reading,the setting of the topics of new poetry group reading,and the basic teaching methods of new poetry group reading.Thirdly,it puts forward the specific implementation strategy of group reading of high school Chinese new poems,which mainly includes the strategy of text selection,the thinking of question design and the method of collective construction and consensus reaching.Finally,taking "Goodbye to Cambridge Again" as an example to carry out group reading teaching of high school Chinese new poetry,and to analyze the case,aiming at illustrating how to apply group reading teaching to specific high school Chinese new poetry teaching.To sum up,it aims to providing some new ideas and methods to help the teaching of new poetry in high school by means of "group reading",solve the existing problems in the teaching of new poetry,and hope to effectively promote the development of new poetry teaching in high school Chinese.
