The healthy development of college students is related to the construction of the talent team of the whole society.Paying attention to the development of college students' mental health has become an important part of talent construction.At present,due to the influence of their own personality,the impact of multiple pressures,and the impact of the Internet age,the social anxiety problem of college students is becoming more and more serious.It has become one of the major psychological problems that affect the achievement of college students and their interpersonal harmony.College students' social anxiety usually shows many physical and psychological discomforts,which affect their normal study and work to varying degrees.Therefore,how to effectively alleviate the social anxiety of college students and enhance their interpersonal skills has become an important research topic.This study uses motivational interviewing,combined with social work practice research methods and psychological counseling skills,and conducts case studies with college students with social anxiety problems as the service objects.This research mainly includes six steps: lead,focus,call out,plan,implement and evaluate.In this process,the author uses a professional scale to assess the client's social anxiety level,formulates and implements intervention goals and plans according to their specific conditions,and develops professional services to help clients alleviate social anxiety.The author takes the motivational interviewing as the main research method to interfere with the social anxiety of college students,aiming to use theory to guide practice,and to develop the theory in practice,try to explore the effect of this method on alleviating the social anxiety of college students,and explore more solutions The possibility of college students' social anxiety problems can promote the development of college students' mental health.
