Since the 21st century,with the acceleration of economic globalization,the international competitiveness of various countries has shown a new pattern.In order to improve the comprehensive national strength of the country,all countries have turned their attention to education.Therefore,they have also paid attention to knowledge,culture,and talent quality.New requirements have been put forward in education.The new round of curriculum reform in our country is based on the current trend of world development and changes,and is proposed in order to continuously advance our country's modern development goals and the prosperity of science and education.In 2014,the Ministry of Education formulated a plan to carry out pilot reforms in some areas,and then gradually extended to the whole country.By 2018,the Ministry of Education formally formulated the "General High School Geography Curriculum Standards"(2017 Edition),which is in line with the new curriculum standards.The corresponding high school "Geography"(2019 edition)textbook was also published.Textbooks are the carrier of curriculum standards.New textbooks present new curriculum concepts,teaching goals,and education orientation.As teachers are the media between textbooks and students,the preliminary work done by teachers for the connection of new and old textbooks is particularly important.This article uses the literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and comparative research method,combined with constructivist learning theory and multiple intelligence theory,reads relevant domestic and foreign textbook research,compilation and curriculum reform literature,and organizes and analyzes them,and learns from them.Excellent experience and methods,tentatively put forward suggestions for preparing to use the new textbook area.The specific content of the thesis is as follows: First,use the literature research method to read relevant domestic and foreign textbook compilations,comparative studies of geography textbooks,and evaluation of the use of textbooks,and define the new geography curriculum standards,the core literacy of geography subjects,and the connotation of geography textbooks.The content is sorted and analyzed,and the new requirements for the compilation and use of geography teaching materials by the geography curriculum standards and the technical route of this research content are obtained.Secondly,using questionnaire survey and interview methods to investigate the suggestions of high school geography teachers in Shihezi City on the current teaching materials used,and to objectively understand the current use of teaching materials,as well as what preparations the teachers have made for the new teaching materials,etc.,carry out data collection and conduct data collection.Preliminary analysis,summarized the problems existing in the high school geography teachers in Shihezi City preparing to use the new textbooks.Third,use comparative analysis to understand the use and training of new high school geography textbooks.Since Dalian has been designated as a national demonstration area,it has a good demonstration and leadership role.Therefore,take the training program for the use of new textbooks in Dalian as an example.Perform analysis.Finally,clarify the common problems,and further propose corresponding measures to provide references for the regions preparing to use the new geography teaching materials,draw conclusions on the subject,reflect on the shortcomings,and look forward to the in-depth study of the content of this article.
