Geographical practice literacy refers to the will quality and action ability that people have in geographical practice activities such as investigation,experimentation and investigation.It is one of the core qualities of geography that students must have.The content of geographical practice in textbooks is the carrier for teachers to cultivate students’ literacy.Therefore,the study of the presentation of geographical practice literacy in textbooks is an extremely important topic.On the basis of combing the Evaluation Index System of geography practice literacy,this study analyzes the presentation of geographical practice in high school geography textbooks.After that,the questionnaire surveys the teachers’ recognition of the geographical practice literacy in textbooks.Use SPSS22.0 software for statistical analysis of questionnaire data,and then put forward suggestions for the use of the geographical practice content in textbooks for the majority of high school geography teachers.The main findings of this study are as follows:The Evaluation Index System of geographical practice literacy consists of 2 tragets in grade 1,8 targets in grade 2 and 16 targets in grade 3.The tragets in grade 1 are the ability to act and the quality of will.The ability to act includes the ability to design geographic practice processes,the ability to implement geographic activities,the ability to analyze the data,the ability to share the results of activities,an interest in learning,a scientific attitude,a strong will and a sense of cooperation.The targets in grade 3 are the specificization of the targets in grade 2,16 in total.The degree of Evaluation Index System of geographical practice literacy in the high school geography textbooks,which were published by the People’s Education Press,is different.The specific presentation of geographical practical literacy in textbooks is that the targets in grade 3 are reflected in textbooks,as well as the ability to implement geographical practice activities,the ability to organize and analyze geographic information,the ability to express and communicate,the learning interest,scientific attitude and strong will in the textbooks are all reflected in the textbooks.While the ability to design geographical practice activities is reflected in most geographical practice activities,the sense of cooperation is less reflected.The design characteristics are: Distributed in a relatively fixed structure,the type of practical activities is mainly survey activities,the expression forms of practical activities are diverse,the practical activities are strongly related to the chapter themes,and the content is close to the real life experience of students.The textbooks have shortcomings such as a small number of experimental activities,short of geographical practice activities that focus on the cultivation of students’ sense of cooperation,and the fact that geographical practice activities do not make full use of the functions of geographic information technology.Teachers’ recognition of the status of geographical practice literacy in textbooks was generally high.However,in terms of consciousness,teachers have a low degree of recognition on the ability to design geographical practice activities in textbooks and the quality of will.In terms of reflection of actions,teachers have a low degree of recognition on paying attention to guiding students to design activity plans in previous teaching activities.Compared with outstanding teachers,novice teachers,skilled teachers and mature teachers have a higher degree of recognition of the status of geographical practical literacy in textbooks.Through the above research results,high school geography teachers are advised to use textbooks accordingly.It is hoped that they can strengthen the study of geography majors,improve geographical literacy,strengthen their understanding of activities,and strengthen the emphasis on activity teaching.It is necessary to guide students to independently design activity plans,to use geographical techniques,to analyze geographical things,and pay attention to allowing students to express more.In this process,we must also pay attention to guiding students to develop good personal qualities.
