With the development of Internet,online teaching is a new way of education.It plays an important role in solving the problem that students can't study in school,expanding the coverage of high-quality resources,and meeting students' personalized learning.After years of development,although online education has shown the advantages of rapid development,but what kind of ability online teachers should have to be competent for teaching work is still a problem that lacks a clear answer.Especially after the sudden "COVID-19" and the large-scale practice of online education,the problem of teachers' online teaching ability has aroused widespread concern.In this context,this study will further expand the application field of "teacher competency",focusing on the online teaching competency of primary and secondary school teachers.The first is literature research.Based on the review and analysis of relevant research literature at home and abroad,this thesis defines the concept of online teaching competency and determines the theoretical basis of the research.The second is the construction of theoretical model.Guided by the onion model,a classic theory of competency research,this paper studies the theoretical dimensions and components of online teaching competency of primary and secondary school teachers through literature induction and interviews with research objects.Then there is the theoretical model.Based on the questionnaire survey of416 primary and secondary school teachers in D City,the structure of the theoretical model is verified and the constituent elements are refined by using SPSS,Amos and other analytical tools,exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis.Finally,using the constructed competency model and questionnaire survey data,combined with interview data,this paper studies the current situation of online teaching competency of primary and secondary school teachers,and puts forward some suggestions on the existing problems.The results show that:(1)The online teaching competency of primary and secondary school teachers is a multi factor model,which consists of knowledge and skills,attitude and development,behavioral motivation and 25 items.(2)The results of exploratory analysis showed that the kmo of the model was 0.952,and the cumulative variance of 25 items was 62.089%;the results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the ratio of chi square degree of freedom was 2.853,which was less than 3;the CFI of the scale was 0.953;the estimate of each item was greater than 0.6,which indicated that the online teaching competency model of primary and secondary school teachers constructed in this study It can fit the data well and meet the standard of psychometrics.(3)At present,the online teaching competency of primary and secondary school teachers in D city is at the medium level,which needs to be further improved,especially in terms of knowledge and skills.Combined with the current situation,we should strengthen the construction from the policy system,environmental atmosphere,teachers themselves and other aspects in the future.
