With the spread of the Internet and the innovation of emerging technologies,the external environment faced by organizations is becoming more and more complex and dynamic.All industries need to seek better survive and development through innovation.The relationship between leadership and innovation has been the focus of scholars for a long time,who say that leadership is one of the powerful factors to promote team innovation.In order to promote team innovation in dynamic and diversified complex environment,higher requirements are put forward for leaders.It is worth studying which kind of leaders can better adapt to complex environment,deal with contradictions in organizations and promote team innovation in organizations.Based on the theory of social learning theory and the theory of gender role,this paper examined the relationship among leaders' gender role,ambidextrous leadership and team innovation performance,at the same time taking the supervisor commitment as the moderating variable.Hierarchical regression analysis was employed to analyze the data in SPSS22.0 surveyed from 49 knowledge teams in various types of enterprises in and around Shanghai.The results show that: compared with non-androgynous leader,the team innovation performance of androgynous leader is higher;ambidextrous leadership plays an intermediary role between androgynous leader and team innovation performance;Supervisory commitment positively moderated the relationship between ambidextrous leadership and team innovation performance.The contribution of theory and practice aspects include: first,in the past research mainly on the gender role has focused on the individual level,leading to less attention paid to the impact of leaders with different gender roles on the team.However,In the process of leading the team,the qualities of leaders to a large extent affect the behaviour of the entire team and lead to different results.Secondly,from the perspective of gender roles,this paper studies its influence on the ambidextrous leadership,which enriches the research on antecedent variables of ambidextrous leadership to some extent,to expand and enrich the research the research perspective of the ambidextrous domain.Third,the research content has certain reference significance to the organization screening and training leaders.
