With the growing "Chinese fever" in the United States,American Chinese learners are becoming younger and younger.In K-12 foreign language education in the United States,the number of Chinese learners is still lower than that of Spanish,but close to German,ranking fourth,and showing a trend of continuous growth.During my time as a volunteer Chinese teacher in the United States,I analyzed and studied the common problems and special cases in the Chinese classroom of Cascade Charter Public School through the combination of classroom observation notes and teaching logs.Based on the studies of Chinese classroom management in America in recent years,starting from the theoretical basis of classroom management in American primary and secondary schools,the characteristics of children's second language acquisition and the factors influencing classroom management,combined with the actual situation of Chinese classroom management in Cascade Height Public Charter School,this paper analyzes four typical cases: imitating students' behavior,attracting teachers' attention,doing other things in the class and "special" students interfere with the classroom.Finally,combined with the previous cases,this paper puts forward some corresponding strategies and suggestions,hoping to provide some ideas or suggestions for the future classroom management of Chinese teachers in the United States,and provide some reference for the research of classroom management in primary and secondary schools in the United States.
