Group Work Involved In The Study Of Sex Education For Children In Urban Distress

The problem of children's sex education has been widely concerned by the society.According to relevant surveys,due to the serious lack of sex education knowledge,the number of children suffering from sexual assault and injury has been increasing year by year.Both urban and rural children are at risk of being hurt,and the cases of sexual assault of urban children account for a relatively high proportion.As a special group,children in urban difficulties are limited by family economic conditions,low level of parents' cultural knowledge,and uneven level of sex education in schools.Children in urban difficulties have less knowledge of sex education,and their sources and channels are not standardized,which makes them more vulnerable to sexual assault.Therefore,it is urgent and important to intervene in sex education from the perspective of social work specialty by taking urban children in distress as the service object.In this paper,the plight of six female children in J community in Nanjing was taken as the research object.Through interviews and literature research,the basic situation of sex education knowledge received by this group was understood,and the demand for sex education knowledge urgently received by this group was analyzed and evaluated.The author carried out a study on sex education of troubled children in J community by means of group work,including the process of early group,early,middle and late group,and imparting sex education knowledge to children in a form that can understand and accept,so as to achieve the purpose of mastering self-protection.On the basis of this practice,we draw a conclusion through interview and participatory observation that the intervention of group work in sex education for children in difficulties is effective and can meet their needs for healthy growth to a certain extent.Summarize and reflect on the experience of group work involved in sex education for children in urban difficulties.First,the sex education knowledge of group workers needs to be improved comprehensively.Second,change the role of team worker in time;Third,link effective resources to eliminate potential "harm";Fourth,sex education should be embedded in different stages of growth.Finally,the author puts forward relevant Suggestions that the country should strengthen the education of children's sex education;Strengthen the participation mechanism of multiple subjects and strengthen the connection of social work;Pay attention to the main role of parents in children's sex education.
