Research On The Process Of Social Work Intervention In The Construction Of Community Public Space

The ever-expanding scale of China's urbanization has broken the "different order pattern" of traditional Chinese etiquette-society relations,brought about random combinations of neighborhood relations,and created "atomic" individuals.Community building is an effective means to change the "atomic" individual,neighbourhood indifference,promote community harmony and increase community social capital in modern society.In the actual community building process,residents will have problems such as low willingness to participate,insufficient ability,and a single participant.The root cause of these problems is the insufficient shaping of "people" in the intervention process.Therefore,in the process of participating in community construction,social workers need to use intermediary role play,resource integration,and enhance the level of participation to help communities reshape neighborhood relationships and build effective community interaction networks.Bottom-up and residents' participation in the creation of community public space is an important method of community construction.Community public space can reproduce community life and awaken people's sense of identity and belonging to the community.The question is,how do social workers create public spaces in the community?This study takes the J community public space construction action as a case.On the one hand,it participates in the process of creating community public space based on social interaction theory and advantageous perspectives.It also explores methods and means to promote residents' interaction and maintain the operation of community public space in the action.In terms of interviews,field observations,and analysis of work data,the methods and methods of community public space construction are studied.The research found that it is possible to use social interaction theory as a guide to mobilize residents to create community public space.In the process of social workers guiding residents to participate in the creation of community public space,the relationship-building function of space must be strengthened to gradually change the type of residents' interaction from instrumental interaction.Emotional interactions and interactions range from interactions among key members to interactions among community residents as a whole;community backbones should be assisted in shifting community public space from a physical space that meets residents' entertainment needs to a social space that provides residents with emotional sustenance.In the process of creating community public space,social workers mainly act as enablers and resource linkers,and community development promoters,and play a role in stimulating residents 'autonomy and enhancing residents' willingness and ability to participate in the community.
