Study On The Process Of Social Work Involvement In Community Self-organization Cultivation

Grass-roots community governance is an important part of community governance,and community self-organization,as a key element of grassroots community governance,plays a vital role in community governance.As an important part of community governance,social work plays a unique role in the process of community self-organization cultivation.This paper combines the project implementation process,takes the advantage perspective and life cycle theory as the theoretical basis,and according to the self-organizing development cycle,puts forward the intervention strategy of cultivating self-organizing social work in stages.This paper studies the whole process of the cultivation of a typical community self-organization--"leading mother" project,and divides the cultivation of self-organization into the preparatory stage,the establishment stage,the growth stage and the mature stage according to the life cycle.According to the needs and characteristics of each stage,the corresponding intervention strategies of social workers in each stage are put forward respectively.This study finds that it is necessary and feasible for social work to get involved in the cultivation of community self-organization.As a professional force,social work can improve the service level of community self-organization.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which puts forward the research background.The author sorts out the domestic and foreign literature on community self-organization,and summarizes the definition of community self-organization.The second part is the general situation of the community and the introduction of the community self-organization project,which introduces the situation of the community and the development of the community self-organization.The typical self-organization "reading mother" is selected as the research object,and the project goal,project development,concept and method of the project are introduced.The third part is about the involvement of social work in the community self-organization cultivation process,including the necessity and feasibility of the intervention,as well as the stages of cultivation,which can be divided into the preparatory stage,the establishment stage,the growth stage and the maturity stage.The targeted community intervention strategies are proposed according to the characteristics of each stage.In the preparatory phase,social workers mainly investigate residents’ needs and link resources;The establishment stage is mainly to develop community backbone,attract community residents through community activities,expand the scale of self-organization;In the growth stage,social workers mainly guide members to formulate norms,organize activities and implement activities,cultivate members’ independent ability,and provide training for leading mothers by linking resources.In the mature stage,the emotional stability among members is relatively stable.Social workers withdraw from the self-organization and let the self-organization develop independently.The fourth part is the evaluation and analysis of the process of social work involvement in community self-organization cultivation using process evaluation and result evaluation methods.The fifth part is summary and reflection.As a new thing,the development process of community self-organization is inevitably not smooth and needs the guidance of special personnel,while social workers can cultivate community self-organization through professional methods.The development of community self-organization accords with the self-government of community residents advocated at present and the social trend.Therefore,it is necessary to develop community self-organization vigorously and build a social community together.The reflection part puts forward the author’s relevant thinking,including the continuity of social work involvement in community self-organization,how to grasp the degree of social work involvement and so on.
