Studying in classes is the main form of compulsory education for disabled children in China.Compared with children with hearing impairments,visual impairments and mental retardation,children with autism who are studying in classes are more difficult to be affected by core autism disorders.They are integrated into the class to receive peer acceptance,and are often excluded or ignored status.The main reasons are that autistic children generally have different degrees of social communication barriers and lack of social skills;peers have low acceptance for autistic children in class;teachers and parents ignore the development of peer relationships and social integration concepts is not in place.Regarding this,what intervention strategies can be adopted by school social work to help autistic children in class to improve the state of tense peer relationships has become an urgent problem to be solved.In this study,a representative autistic child attending class was selected to be as a case.Participatory observation method,questionnaire method,and interview method were used to collect relevant data,and social ecosystem theory was used to comprehensively analyze current existing problem for peer companion relationships of autistic children who attend classes.With social learning theory as the main theoretical support,using the social work case counseling and group counseling professional methods,specifically using the token control method,game coaching,imitation excellence,picture book explanation and role-playing method to conduct intervention services for autistic children individuals and the classes' environment they are in.Through practical research,it is founding that social work case intervention can reduce the problematic behaviors of autistic children in class,help autistic children to master simple social skills and improve peer acceptance.It's helpful to improve the autistic children's peer relationship development status.On this basis,we summarize and reflect on the action strategies for social work case involvement,with the hope of to providing some reference for social work services to improve peer relationships for autistic children who attend classes in the future.
