With the advent of the 21 st century knowledge era,society’s demand for talents tends to be capable and qualitative.In recent years,China ’s senior high school geography education has comprehensively deepened the fundamental task of “building people with virtues”,and has cultivated the core literacy of geography disciplines in the design and implementation of geography courses.Therefore,new education methods or philosophy to truly achieve the goal of deepening curriculum reform.The micro-project learning method,as a cooperative and inquiring teaching mode,has achieved certain results in the application of multiple subject teaching,but its application research in high school geography teaching is less,and it attaches importance to the new curriculum standard.Suggestions such as problem-based teaching are consistent,so investigating whether the micro-project learning method is suitable for geography teaching in high school and how to apply it is a subject worthy of study.Based on this knowledge,this study summarizes the current status of micro-project learning method through literature reading,summarizes the connotation and characteristics of micro-project learning methods,and analyzes the necessity and feasibility of its application in high school geography teaching.Put forward the general principles and strategies of the development process and application of micro-project learning method in high school geography teaching,and carry out case design and implementation based on this.Finally,use the experimental comparative analysis method to analyze the students’ before and after implementation of the micro-project learning method.The application effect analysis of grades,geography learning interests,and teamwork awareness.The main results of the research are as follows:Firstly,the general flow of micro-project learning method in high school geography teaching is proposed.The application of micro-project learning method should follow the principles of the unification of pertinence and feasibility,the unification of fun and science,and the unification of project and life.Secondly,two cases of applying micro-project learning method in geography teaching in high school are provided.Through the design and implementation of micro-projects "White Deer’s" Mystery "and" Jiulongjiang / Luxi Water Drop Trip ",the application of micro-project learning method in high school geography teaching is verified to be feasible.Finally,through the analysis of grades and questionnaires,it is concluded that the implementation of micro-project learning method in high school geography teaching is conducive to improving high school students ’geographic learning interest and teamwork awareness,promoting students to actively discover and think about geographic problems,and helping to cultivate high school students’ Geographic information acquisition,analysis,and screening capabilities,and it can be preliminarily considered to be effective in improving academic performance.
