Reading teaching plays an importance part in Chinese classes,especially in junior high school.And asking questions are the most significant link in the class.Main problem,the concept proposed by Yu Yingchao in 1993,attracted great attention and was widely applied in educational practices.It's the opposite of asking pieces of questions in the class.Main problems support and promote the process of reading teaching.What's more,Main problems aim to simplify the process of teaching,optimize the achievements of teaching and improve students' reading ability.While,The common problem of reading teaching is that teachers tend to ask questions in a massive and frequent way.It seems that the teaching process can not move on successfully if they don't ask questions.But such superficial,fixed and unconvinced questions and answers have taken up the precious time in the class,which ends up with no gains for students.In September 2016,the Chinese textbook for compulsory education arranged by the ministry of education was firstly used in grade 7 in junior high school,which gradually takes the place of the original textbook.The textbook arranged by the ministry of education thinks highly of the voluntary construction of the text by students and the combination of humanity and reference.Furthermore,it needs teachers to not only make an intensive study of the textbook,but also arrange main problems of the material carefully from the perspective of guaranteeing the quality of teaching and respecting the subjectivity of students.And only in this way,can students have a better understanding of the text by themselves in an emotional and individual way.As a result,this paper studies the Chinese textbook in junior high school arranged by the ministry of education,which gathers the characteristics of the textbook arranged by the ministry of education and aims to improve the efficiency in Chinese reading teaching in junior high school.The paper consists of four parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly includes the motivation and significance of research,the method of research and the present situation of research at home and abroad.The second part analyzes the concept,characteristics and the value of main problems.The third part analyzes the present problems on designing main problems in Chinese reading teaching arranged by the ministry of education in junior high school,including the cause of it.And the fourth part has a discussion about the principles and strategies of optimizing the design of main problems in reading teaching.All in all,the design of main problems is not only of great importance in reading teaching,but also an useful tool.What's more,main problems which is well designed through optimization has practical value in Chinese reading teaching arranged by the ministry of education in junior high school.And I hope this paper can provide some more practical and operable advice for Chinese teachers in reading teaching.
