| The improvement of teachers ’professional ability is an important task of teacher education.Teaching and research activities are very useful for effectively improving teachers’ teaching level and solving the problems of teachers in education and teaching practice.Especially in the junior middle school geography teaching,through teaching and research activities,not only can help geography teachers solve the practical problems faced in the teaching process,but also to a certain extent,promote the improvement of geography teachers’ professional qualities and professional abilities,so that geography teaching achieves Do more with less.For rural middle schools,carrying out geography teaching and research activities is particularly important,but due to various factors,the promotion of rural geography teachers’ professional ability is limited.Based on this,this article takes Fujian as an example,selects 30 middle schools in rural areas of Fujian Province as the survey object,starts from the perspective of teachers’ professional abilities,and uses survey questionnaires and interviews to investigate the current status of junior middle school geography teachers in rural areas of Fujian Province.Through investigation,it is found that there is indeed a problem in the teaching and research activities of the geographical disciplines in rural middle schools.Through analysis,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward on how to effectively carry out geographical teaching and research activities in the rural middle schools and promote the improvement of the professional abilities of rural teachers. |
