The textbook is the embodiment of the national will.What kind of teaching materials,what kind of students,what kind of future.Chinese is a subject of special nature.As a mother tongue,it is both instrumental and humanistic,and it is the basis and prerequisite for learning other subjects.Chinese teaching materials,especially primary school Chinese teaching materials,have a great influence on the development of people.It can be said that primary school Chinese textbooks are the foundation of a nation.Therefore,it is of great significance to pay attention to the study of primary school Chinese teaching materials.This paper takes the current 12 textbooks of primary school Chinese(grade 1-6)compiled by the ministry as the research object.According to the standards of primary school Chinese curriculum and relevant theories,the paper adopts the methods of literature review,content analysis and investigation.Firstly,the development history of primary school Chinese textbooks since the founding of the People's Republic of China is reviewed.Thirdly,the author mainly studies the compilation of primary school Chinese textbooks from the two dimensions of content setting and arrangement.The content setting of the textbook is analyzed from four aspects: the total amount of content,the composition of content,the form of content expression and the source of content.The arrangement of teaching materials is discussed from three aspects: organization frame,illustration and exercises.It is expected to further improve the ministry edition of primary school Chinese textbooks,improve the quality of primary school Chinese teaching,and lay a solid foundation for the healthy growth of pupils.The research finds that the primary school Chinese textbooks compiled by the ministry have the following characteristics in content setting: the total amount of content is appropriate,such as: the number of new words is relatively reasonable,each volume between 100 and 250;Content composition pays attention to the combination of culture and quality,highlights the traditional culture and patriotism education,pays attention to the cultivation of students' core quality;Various forms of expression,mainly narrative,poetry,fairy tale,suitable for the characteristics of primary school students;The content sources are ancient,modern and local.Characteristics of the arrangement: clear organizational structure,uniform distribution of units;Exquisite illustrations,bright colors,reasonable design,the combination of text and text in place;The number of exercises after class is abundant and the types of questions are varied.Of course,there are some problems in the primary school Chinese textbooks compiled by the ministry: for example,the difficulty of selecting a few articles is too large,and the task of learning ancient poetry and prose is too heavy;The scientific nature and preciseness of a few selected contents need to be improved.Scientific researchers choose few articles,not conducive to the promotion of scientific spirit;The weak selection of the subject of labor education is not conducive to the overall development of students.Suggestions to perfect the compilation of primary school Chinese teaching materials: first,the author should perfect the study of the selected text and give consideration to the balance.Second,to encourage teachers to participate in the discussion of teaching materials,and to listen to the opinions of the users of teaching materials.Third,we will increase the number of selected papers for scientists and scientific research,and promote the scientific spirit and core values.Fourth,the appropriate increase of labor education selected text,cultivate students love the quality of labor.
