Exploration And Practice Of Social Work Intervention In Children’s Community Participation

Community is the basic unit of society,and our country has always attached great importance to community work.At the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee,it was proposed to adhere to and improve the system of social governance based on joint contribution,joint governance and shared benefits,and to mobilize diverse actors to participate in building a governance structure at the community level.At the same time,with the development of child welfare specialization,child-friendly cities have gradually emerged.As one of the multiple subjects,children’s participation in community construction not only conforms to the internal requirements and development trend of community governance,but also is an important aspect of realizing the construction of child-friendly cities.However,the existing services for children fail to give full play to children’s subjective initiative and children’s community participation is limited.Social work is an activity which is guided by Elitism,based on scientific knowledge and using professional methods to help others solve problems and meet their needs.It plays an increasingly important role as a bridge in the participation of residents in the community.This study is based on Shenzhen H community "big hands holding hands" children completely project,from the perspective of social work,by the methods of literature study,interview,observation,questionnaire investigation,from the channel,level of participation,participation frequency,participation ability,to investigate on the issue of children’s community participation,to master the rich.Through combing,it is found that children’s community participation has some problems,such as weak participation autonomy,low frequency of participation,simple content level and insufficient ability.The reasons for the problems are the influence of traditional ideas,the administration of community work and the limitation of children’s ability and consciousness.Then explore the possibility and necessity of social work involvement in children’s community participation:group work plays an important role in promoting the improvement of personal ability,through the development of leadership promotion group to improve the basic ability of children’s community practice;Through carrying out community activities,the space for children’s community participation is explored in the process of community practice to meet children’s diversified needs.Finally,the service results are summarized and suggestions and strategies are put forward for the problems existing in children’s community participation.
