With the progress of social economy and the development of special education and medical rehabilitation,more and more attention has been paid to the education and rehabilitation of children with mental retardation.This study selects Tongshan District Special Education Center of Xuzhou City as teaching unit,mainly through interviews,behavior research and other methods to collect data from teachers and students of Tongshan District Special Education Center.Taking the students of the school dance class(optional class system)as the key research and teaching object,adopting the method of combining theory with practice,referring to the rehabilitation teaching practice of different organization forms of children with mental retardation,reflecting on the good development of dance rehabilitation teaching for children with mental retardation.This paper tries to change dance teaching from knowledge indoctrination to more targeted dance rehabilitation teaching,and tries to construct a suitable dance rehabilitation teaching model for children with mental retardation.This study tries to find a new way for the children with mental retardation in our country to satisfy the all-round development of the children with mental retardation,and at the same time to play the role of "educational rehabilitation" in the education of children with mental retardation.
