The "Compulsory Education Chinese Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition)" advocates "to help students form a good personality and a sound personality through the influence of excellent culture." Among them,the entire book reading is a more systematic and higher-level reading method It is of great significance for enriching the spiritual world of young students,adhering to the fine tradition of cultural inheritance,and improving the comprehensive literacy of Chinese learning."Reader-centered theory" re-gives readers new connotations and meanings,puts readers at the center of the reading system,affirms its core position of fully excavating the value of text,and echoes the concept of the curriculum standard that emphasizes the subject of student reading and advocates quality education.Based on the perspective of "reader-centered theory",this article clarifies the feasibility of applying "reader-centered theory" to the entire book reading teaching of "Journey to the West" by combing the literature and understanding the current status of the entire book reading teaching in junior high schools.At the same time,combined with the characteristics of the physical and mental development of junior high school students,we will discuss the optimization strategies for the reading teaching of the entire book "Journey to the West",such as stimulating reading expectations before class,enlivening the atmosphere,promoting the integration and transformation of vision during class,and deepening reading comprehension after class,etc.Give full play to the main role of students in reading learning,and enhance the interest of reading the whole book of "Journey to the West".The thesis is divided into three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.There are four chapters in the main text.The first chapter mainly introduces the feasibility of "Reader-centered Theory" in the teaching of the entire book of Journey to the West;the second chapter understands students and their students through questionnaire surveys,field investigations,case studies,and teaching practices.Teachers' reading status,discovering the existing problems in the reading teaching of the whole book of Journey to the West and discussing attribution;Chapter 3 discusses the optimization strategy of the reading teaching of the whole book of Journey to the West from the perspective of “reader-centered”;The fourth chapter is to design the reading teaching of the whole book of "Journey to the West" and put it into practice in the classroom,based on the feedback of teaching practice,summarize the existing shortcomings and put forward teaching suggestions,and further optimize the reading of the whole book of "Journey to the West" teaching.In the concluding part,I summarize the main points of the full text,and imagine the prospect of "reader-centered theory" guiding the reading teaching of the whole book "Journey to the West".The appendix part is the teacher questionnaire,student questionnaire and "Journey to the West" teaching plan designed by the author.
