Documents such as "Promoting the Reform of Ordinary High School Education Methods in the New Era" issued by the State Council emphasized the need to deepen classroom teaching reforms.The classroom is the main place for high school students to receive education,and student participation in the classroom is an important part of measuring learning effects and evaluating classroom teaching.Studying the participation of high school students in the geography classroom can not only effectively promote the new curriculum reform,but also have important significance for the personal growth of high school students and the professional development of geography teachers.After consulting predecessors' research progress and related literature on classroom participation,combined with the education situation in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,the paper designs a series of tools to investigate the participation of high school students in geography classrooms,focusing on the current situation and improvement of the participation of high school students in geography classrooms in Guangxi.Strategy research.In the current research part,firstly,it investigates the participation of senior high school students in the geography classroom in Guangxi on a large regional scale.Through a questionnaire survey of teachers and students in Guangxi,the current situation of high school students in Guangxi is passive in their behavioral participation,weak cognitive participation,and simple emotional participation in the geography classroom.Secondly,in order to verify the true universality of the overall status quo,the perspective is focused on a specific section of the geography classroom in Guangxi high school on a micro scale,and the classroom observation and questionnaire survey methods are used to further study the current situation of high school students' classroom participation.Combined with the calculation method of participation,it is concluded that the behavioral,cognitive,and emotional participation of senior high school students in the geography class are 19,16 and 18 points respectively,and the total participation is 53 points.Overall,the participation of geography class is not satisfactory.The results of micro-scale surveys and large-scale surveys mutually verify and complement each other.The combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis makes the thesis research more scientific.The strategy research part proposes specific and feasible strategies for enhancing participation in high school geography classrooms from three aspects: guiding behavior participation,paying attention to cognitive participation,and cultivating emotional participation.First of all,it is reasonable to guide behavior participation from the teaching method,activity setting and time arrangement.The differences are diversification of teaching methods and increased participation opportunities;novel activity settings and enrichment of participation methods;scientific time arrangement to improve participation efficiency.Secondly,it pays attention to cognitive participation in real time in terms of learning objectives,teaching cases and learning results.The differences are clarification of learning objectives and implementation of learning method guidance;novel selection of cases to create cognitive conflicts;display of learning results to consolidate geographic connections.The third is to carefully cultivate emotional participation from curriculum evaluation,teacher-student relationship and language expression.They are diversified evaluation systems to stimulate participation motivation;friendly teacher-student relationship,build a harmonious atmosphere;language expression affinity,convey emotional resonance.At the end of the thesis,according to the proposed strategy,two geography teaching examples of natural geography and human geography of the New People's Education Edition are designed and analyzed,hoping to provide reference and reference for related research in the future.
