In the context of curriculum reform,quality education,problem awareness and the ability to analyze and solve problems are particularly important for high school students.In the "General High School Geography Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition,2020 Revision)",the focus is on the development of students' quality,and the importance of problem-based teaching in high school geography is emphasized.The problem-based teaching method not only provides a strong support for the teaching of geography courses,but also provides reference for the teaching of other courses.Guided by constructivism theory,discovery learning theory and zone of proximal development theory,the research methods of literature research method,Delphi method,classroom observation method and mathematical statistics are adopted.The current situation of application in high school geography teaching,understand the problems existing in the application of problem teaching method in high school geography teaching,put forward countermeasures for the problem,and finally design a teaching case based on problem teaching method.This research mainly completes the following contents:(1)By applying the Delphi method to design the expert questionnaire,further improve and refine the analysis of the requirements of the high school geography problem teaching method.Put forward the four requirements of the problem teaching method-conducive to the cultivation of logical thinking,scientific selection of applicable content,rational creation of situations and precise design of problem chains.(2)The current situation of applying the problem teaching method to senior high school geography classroom through classroom observation method and student questionnaire,and put forward improvement strategies according to the current situation.The first is to improve teachers ' ability to understand and apply the problem-based teaching method,which is reflected in teachers ' need to update educational concepts,take logical thinking as the main line,fit students ' actual situation,reasonably create situations and optimize problem design,and conduct scientific and reasonable questioning..The second is to promote students' active participation in the problem-based teaching method classroom.The specific performance is that students should increase knowledge accumulation,be good at finding problems,actively participate in classrooms,ask questions,strengthen cooperation and exchanges,and actively solve problems.(3)Based on the improvement strategy,combined with the four requirements of the problem-based teaching method,in-depth analysis of the applicable content and design of teaching application cases.This paper provides the front-line teachers with the content applicable to the problem-based teaching method in Selective Compulsory 1 of the People's Education Edition,which has good reference significance for high school geography teaching.
