Comprehensive geographic thinking is one of the four major geographic disciplines. It is a way of thinking and ability to comprehensively understand the integrity of the geographic environment.Improving comprehensive geographic thinking is a requirement for fulfilling the core literacy. The multiple intelligence theory proposed by Gardner Howard has become the guiding ideology of the new curriculum reform, which shows that it also plays an important role in geography teaching. Therefore, this article combines multiple intelligences in order to cultivate high school students' comprehensive thinking on geography.According to the three dimensions of comprehensive geographic thinking, the three types of intelligence in the theory of multiple intelligences are selected and elaborated, namely, natural observation and exploration intelligence, visual space intelligence, and logical mathematical intelligence(hereinafter referred to as "important intelligence").This article starts from three kinds of "important intelligences" and discusses the strategies for cultivating high school students' comprehensive thinking in geography. This thesis is based on multiple intelligences theory, constructivism theory, and multi-sensory theory. It is based on the test questions of high school students' comprehensive thinking in geography and the analysis of high school geography teachers' interviews on cultivating comprehensive thinking strategies. It uses test test methods and interview methods.,Literature analysis and other research methods, comprehensively study the comprehensive thinking training strategy of high school students based on the theory of multiple intelligences,in order to improve the comprehensive thinking of high school students in geography, and better implement the core literacy of geography.Through student test questions,it is found that high school students' comprehensive thinking in geography mainly suffers from insufficient understanding of the elements and the connections between them;lack of deep understanding of the spatial-temporal pattern and temporal-spatial evolution;insufficient understanding of regional composition and contrast between regions;passed;Teacher interviews summarized the suggestions for training strategies from the three dimensions of comprehensive geographic thinking: the cultivation of integrated elements should pay attention to the understanding and connection of the elements;the cultivation of time-space integration should pay attention to the use of multimedia;the cultivation of local integrated thinking should strengthen the thinking method. Then this article focuses on the problems of the three dimensions of comprehensive geographic thinking of high school students and teachers' views on training strategies, infiltrating the theory of multiple intelligences, and proposes strategies for cultivating the three dimensions of comprehensive geographic thinking based on the theory of multiple intelligences: starting from natural observation and exploration of intelligence,Cultivate the integration of geographic elements. It is embodied in guiding students to learn to observe and grasp the connotation of the elements;guiding students to actively explore and grasp the connections of the elements.Starting from visual spatial intelligence, cultivate integrated thinking in time and space. It is embodied by focusing on the combination of pictures and texts, understanding the spatial distribution from a static perspective;using multimedia skillfully, understanding the evolution of time and space from a dynamic perspective.Starting from logical mathematical intelligence, cultivate local comprehensive thinking. It is embodied in the use of mind mapping method to construct element connections between regions;case analysis method to realize the migration application between regions. In response to the results of the survey and the proposed training strategies, taking "the differences in natural geographical environment" as an example, design relevant cases and reflect on them.Although this thesis does a certain investigation and analysis on the current situation of students' comprehensive thinking and training strategies,it explores the strategies for cultivating geographic comprehensive thinking based on the theory of multiple intelligences. However, the following problems still need further research: In addition to the "important intelligence",the application of several other intelligences of multiple intelligences in geography teaching.
