As an important component of the elementary education,the primary school teachers' attitudes towards punishment and admonition in the educational process have a great influence on the personality development of primary school students.By investigating the current situation of these teachers,this paper will discuss the factors which are relevant to their attitudes towards punishment and admonition in the educational,and the suggestions and countermeasures which provided reference to better manage students and promote the harmonious development of teacher-student relationship.In this research,a questionnaire on elementary school teachers' attitude towards educational punishment was prepared to explore the relationship between elementary school teachers' attitude towards educational punishment and teachers' self-esteem,teachers' occupational pressure and teachers' professional identity.Questionnaire survey,personal interview and other research methods were used to investigate the status quo of elementary school teachers' attitude towards educational punishment.The research is divided into four parts: the first part is the preparation of the questionnaire on the attitude of educational punishment of primary school teachers;In the second part,the status quo of elementary school teachers' attitude towards educational punishment was investigated through the questionnaire of elementary school teachers' attitude towards educational punishment.The third part is about the factors related to the attitude of educational punishment of primary school teachers.367 primary school teachers were investigated by using "Self-esteem Scale","Teacher Professional Identity Scale" and "Teacher Occupational Stress Scale",and the effect model was analyzed and verified by using SPSS software.The fourth part is a case research,through which the characteristics of the attitude of educational punishment of primary school teachers are investigated.The research drew the following results and conclusions:(1)The questionnaire about primary school teachers' attitude of educational punishment and admonition being consisted of 5 dimensions mainly,they are effect,cognition,experience,opportunity and tendency of educational punishment and admonition respectively,which meets the requirements of psychological measurement and has good reliability and validity,and can be used to investigate the present situation of the elementary school teacher education punishment and admonition attitude.(2)The scores of elementary school teachers' attitudes towards education and discipline are at the upper-middle level,and they are generally more positive.Of which,the score of "cognition of the effect of educational punishment" was the highest,and "educational punishment experience" was the lowest.There is no significant difference in the attitude of educational punishment of primary school teachers on different demographic variables,but there are differences in the three dimensions of "cognition of the effect of educational punishment","educational punishment opportunity" and "educational punishment tendency".(3)Primary school teachers' self-esteem,occupational pressure,occupational identity and educational punishment and admonition attitude have significant positive correlation.(4)Primary school teachers' self-esteem and professional identity played a fully mediating role in the influence of teachers' occupational pressure on educational punishment attitude.(5)Through the interview,it is found that the attitude of educational punishment of primary school teachers is formed by the interaction of internal and external factors,showing the diverse,multi-level and immature characteristics.It is necessary to guide primary school teachers to form a correct attitude of educational punishment from various aspects.
