Teachers' professional identity is the key factor to promote teachers' professional development,an important way to improve the quality of education,and an inevitable requirement for the development of basic education in the new era.Therefore,as an important part of the basic education,the quality of its teaching staff and the quality of its education are of paramount importance.The purpose of this study is to understand the current situation of primary school teachers' professional identity in the new era,to explore the factors that affect their professional identity,and to give some reasonable suggestions to improve the professional identity of primary school teachers.It is of great practical significance to study the professional identity of primary school teachers in the new era,which is not only the embodiment of “People-oriented”thought in education,but also the development demand of the new era basic education.This study finds that the level of primary school teachers' professional identity is high in the new era,and there are no significant differences among different groups of teachers in terms of gender,educational background,organization nature,teaching subjects,number of teaching subjects,pre-service profession and school location,there are significant differences in age,seniority,professional title and income.The level of teachers' professional identity is proportional to age,seniority,professional title and income.In addition,this paper also finds that,the influencing factors of primary school teachers' professional identity in the new era mainly include the following aspects: personal professional interest,educational feelings and personal interests,school management and social identity.On the basis of the above results,the author thinks that teachers should establish correct professional values,cultivate educational feelings and pursue reasonable material,improve the scientific management level of schools,enhance the sense of belonging of teachers,and promote social identity,improving Teachers' well-being.
