Anxiety,as an important affective variable that restricts the effectiveness of second language learning,has attracted extensive attention from researchers at home and abroad.Looking into the relevant research on second language acquisition at home and abroad,the research focusing on English learning anxiety is far more than the research on Chinese second language acquisition.Until the end of the last century,the Chinese teaching circle began to pay attention to the Chinese learning anxiety.Despite the remarkable achievements and development,there is still a big gap between the foreign and domestic English teaching circles.In this context,based on previous studies,this paper makes a more in-depth analysis of Thai middle school students' anxiety about Chinese learning.The independent sample t-test was used to detect the influencing factors of Chinese learning anxiety,and the analysis results were as follows:(1)Age is correlated with Chinese learning anxiety.Divide the age of middle school students into two stages,During the period from 13 years old to 15 years old,the average Chinese learning anxiety of Thai middle school students showed a downward trend;from 16 years old to 18 years old and above,the average anxiety showed a decreasing trend;However,the trend of decline between the age of 13 and below to 15 is slower than that between the age of 16 and 18,and the average value of Chinese learning anxiety between the age of 13 and below to 15 is higher than that between the age of16 and 18;(2)There is a correlation between personality and Chinese learning anxiety.Both introversion and extroversion are related to Chinese learning anxiety,and the Chinese learning anxiety of middle school students with both types of personality is higher than that of middle school students with introversion and extroversion.(3)The self-evaluation of Chinese proficiency of Thai middle school students is significantly related to the degree of anxiety,and the higher the self-evaluation of Chinese proficiency,the lower the degree of anxiety,showing a negative correlation.(4)The gender?grade of Thai middle school students has no influence on Chinese learning anxiety.According to SPSS22.0,the analysis results of Chinese learning anxiety scale are as follows :(1)The overall anxiety level of Thai middle school students in Chinese learning is above average,The average anxiety score was 100.5;(2)Chinese output anxiety ranked first,followed by Chinese processing anxiety.The lower anxiety values are Chinese input anxiety and Chinese level self-evaluation anxiety;(3)Among the Chinese output anxiety,the anxiety caused by examination is the highest.The second is Chinese oral anxiety,in which the average value of after-class oral anxiety is higher than the average value of in-class oral anxiety.Chinese output anxiety ranked third is the anxiety caused by being questioned;(4)Comparatively speaking,the overall value of Chinese input anxiety is low,but from the internal dimension,reading brings more anxiety than listening anxiety;(5)Through the interview,we know that the teacher's unfriendly expression is also one of the reasons that affect middle school students' anxiety in Chinese learning.Finally,based on the above survey results,the author puts forward some targeted and feasible measures for Thai middle school students:(1)From the perspective of teachers to reduce the Thai middle school students' Chinese learning anxiety,respectively from the test oral anxiety was asked the individual differences of anxiety and other five aspects to explain in detail;(2)From the perspective of middle school students,it can help to relieve the anxiety of learning Chinese and objectively evaluate oneself by setting up self-confidence.Set up the correct examination view to change the learning attitude;The correct view of the competitive relationship between students to consider several aspects;(3)From the point of view of the selection of textbooks,we can choose from the pertinence,practicability,science,interest and systematicness;It is hoped that the suggestions put forward by the author will have some enlightening effect on Chinese teaching in Thai middle schools.
