Chinese characters are one of the oldest characters in the world.Although they have been changed many times,they have been passed down to the present with its profound cultural connotation and mysterious charm,and have become a business card of Chinese culture.The importance of its status is self-evident.There are four key elements in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,they are pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar and Chinese characters.Chinese characters are so special for foreign learners,especially those who are not in the Chinese character culture circle,Chinese characters are unique symbols that are difficult to learn,difficult to recognize,difficult to remember,and difficult to write.Thai people have their own characteristics,Chinese characters are very different.During the teaching of the STRISUKSA SCHOOL,It is found that in the process of learning Chinese characters in Thai middle school students,there are different mistakes have attracted the attention of the Chinese teaching community.Through student assignments,tests,competitions,etc.,we collected first-hand information on Thai middle school students' acquisition of Chinese characters.Firstly,analyze the types of learners' Chinese character acquisition errors from three perspectives: stroke bias,component bias and whole word bias.Then,from different aspects of Chinese character teaching,the reasons for the errors are discussed.It is also proposed to improve the teacher's quality from teaching,and cultivate students' self-learning and learning strategies.
