| Chinese characters are one of the key and difficult points for foreign learners in learning Chinese.Based on previous research results,the author used the opportunity of teaching for one year at Sawang Boriboon Wittaya School in Pattaya,Thailand to collect the Chinese writing errors of 133 students in the ninth grade,and designed a questionnaire to investigate the use of their Chinese character learning strategies,and explored the correlation between Chinese character writing errors and learning strategies of Thai middle school students by SPSS statistical analysis software.Finally,based on the results of the correlation analysis,this article puts forward relevant suggestions on Chinese character teaching and Chinese character learning strategies from the perspectives of "how teachers teach" and "how students learn".This paper is divided into six parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which elaborates the research background,the purpose and significance of the research,the research status,the theoretical basis and the methods of the research.Through sorting out the current research situation,it is found that although there are abundant research results on the writing errors of Chinese characters,the research on the correlation between the two based on the analysis of learners’ learning strategies is still not comprehensive.The second chapter is a detailed introduction of Chinese character writing errors of Thai middle school students.The author classifies the writing errors of Chinese characters of Thai middle school students into three categories: wrong characters,misused characters and traditional Chinese.Each error type is divided into several sub categories,and the proportion of each error type is calculated,which describes the original appearance of Chinese character writing errors of Thai middle school students as comprehensively and in detail as possible.The third chapter is a questionnaire survey on Chinese character learning strategies for Thai students.Through the design and distribution of questionnaires,the use of Chinese character learning strategies for Thai middle school students is calculated and analyzed.The fourth chapter is based on the second and third chapters,with the help of SPSS software to analyze the correlation between Chinese character writing errors and learning strategies of Thai middle school students.The results show that there is a significant negative correlation between Chinese character writing errors and Chinese character learning strategies of Thai middle school students.That is,the higher the frequency of using the learning strategy,the lower the probability of writing errors in Chinese characters,and the lower the frequency of using the learning strategy,the higher the probability of writing errors in Chinese characters.After that,this article detailed each sub-category of strategies,and explored which specific learning strategies have a positive effect on reducing errors in writing Chinese characters.The fifth chapter is based on the previous research,and puts forward relevant suggestions from two aspects of Chinese character teaching and Chinese character learning strategies.The last part is the conclusion part,which mainly summarizes the viewpoints and conclusions of the whole paper,and points out the shortcomings of this study. |
