In the era of big data,modern citizens are required to have certain statistical thinking.Statistical thinking is a kind of world view that allows people to observe the world with a statistical perspective.It is also a methodology that allows people to solve problems with statistical methods.Primary school is a critical period for children's growth.At this stage,children's cognition expands rapidly and their thinking develops continuously,which plays an enlightening role in the development of life and is also a good time to sow statistical thinking." statistics and probability " as one plate of the Compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards(2011 edition),and it is clear that the primary school stage is mainly based on "statistics" and supplemented by "probability",exploring the teaching status quo of statistical thinking cultivating,teaching strategy of cultivating statistical thinking has theoretical and practical significance.This research takes the teachers and students of the fourth grade of XX Primary School in X City as the objects of investigation,applies the thinking teaching theory of Dewey and Stenberg,understands the cultivating effect of primary school students' statistical thinking in the form of test paper,deeply understands the reasons behind the training effect in the form of classroom observation and interview,and proposes strategies.This study is divided into five parts:The first part: introduction.It explains the research background,the importance of cultivating primary school students' statistical thinking in combination with the era of big data,and the necessity of cultivating primary school students' statistical thinking in combination with the education goal of our curriculum standards and core literacy.Expatiate the existing research results and find the innovation points of this research;Four core concepts in this study are clarified: statistical thinking,statistical thinking training,training effects and training strategies;This paper expounds the theoretical basis of this study--Dewey and Sternberg's thinking teaching theory,and the feasibility of the theoretical basis;The research problems and significance,research ideas and methods of this study are put forward.The second part: the representation of statistical thinking.This paper probes into the meaning of statistical thinking and the views on the dimensions of statistical thinking at home and abroad,clarifies the dimension division of statistical thinking and its concrete embodiment in statistical teaching.The third part: analysis of the effect of statistical thinking training of primary school students.The status quo of primary school students' statistical thinking level was investigated,and 79 students from the fourth grade of XX Primary School in X City were selected as the research object,and through the way of examination paper survey,the effect of primary school students' statistical thinking training is understood,and the problems of statistical thinking training are found.The fourth part: the inducement of pupil statistical thinking cultivating problem.According to the compiled classroom observation scale,this paper analyzes the causes of the problems in the training of statistical thinking in the classroom,which are attributed to the deviation of teachers' understanding of statistical teaching,the lack of secondary development of teaching content,the lack of necessary thinking on the teaching organization form of statistical thinking training,the single teaching method of statistical thinking training and the lack of creation of teaching environment for statistical thinking.The fifth part: the strategies of cultivating students' statistical thinking.This paper puts forward five teaching strategies: teachers should make clear the teaching objective with the training of statistical thinking as the core,teachers should transform the teaching content around the training of statistical thinking,teachers should adopt comprehensive teaching organization,teachers should adopt diversified teaching methods and actively create a relaxed and interesting teaching environment.
