Curriculum reform has been implemented for more than ten years in China.This is an overall reform in the field of basic education from the central to the local level.It is also a fundamental basis of the development of quality education.However,the reform has not been smooth going.In the process of implementation,due to the differences in the specific conditions of different regions and different schools,different problems has inevitably arised.This research selects Chongqing Fengdu Middle School as the research object,based on the "General High School Music Curriculum Standards" promulgated by the Ministry of Education in 2017,starting with music education and investigating the problemns of Fengdu Middle School’s music education,based on the implementation of the "New Curriculum Standard",then face the obstacles and challenges and finally put forward improvable strategies and suggestions.Through the investigation of the current situation of the music curriculum in Fengdu Middle School in Chongqing,this research aims to solve problems in 4 angles: the government,the school,the teachers and the students——We will also give suggestions for music lessons in high schools,based on the reform of the background of the "New Curriculum Standard" and the characteristics of music lessons.What’s more,after the investigation and analysis of the current situation of high school music lessons in Chongqing Fengdu Middle School,combined with the facts,we will put forward reasonable suggestions based on the problems of music lessons in this school.
