"High school music course standard(try line)"was started in 2005. New standards advocated a new idea: with the core of aesthetic, we should develop students’ interests , attach individuality , emphasize on practice, enhance the awareness of innovation, carry forward folk music and feel cultural diversity. In this article we take Zhangjiakou as an example, and do some research on the idea that can reflect "High school music course standard" in music class.The No. Ten Middle School, in Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, promoted the new idea of course standard and advocated the student-centered teaching in music teaching actively, enriched musical practice, and etc, so as to develop students’ interest in music lessons to arouse their love of learning, to take aesthetic education as the core, to improve the overall quality of students as the goal ,and to express that music teachers can not only teach their students the music knowledge, but more importantly help students establish a close relationship between music and life, and thus establish good foundation for lifelong learning and enjoy the music.This article will run through the music education philosophy of "High school music course standard", analyze music teaching in high school,make full use of the music curriculum resources of No. Ten High School, explore how to implement the "standard" music appreciation teaching and music extracurricular activities in high school according to local conditions, fully comply with the new curriculum philosophy with actual teaching. In the article we will analyze teaching philosophy deeply, observe the school environment, the ability of teachers as well as student learning situation, through the survey of questionnaires, interviews, analysis, statistical methods, and etc, we can study and analyze teaching style and strategies. Referred to the content of "standard" and combined with the music teaching and objective practical problems of Zhangjiakou No. Ten High School, we try to make the exploration and research of teaching practice by tapping the curriculum resources, identifying new training objectives, setting new teaching goals, adjusting teaching content, changing teaching methods and so on, to provide some references for further implementation of new curriculum promotion,.also we hope that this article will have some value for the reform of music teaching in high school.
