At present,there are a large number of left behind children in rural areas of China,who are far away from their parents,resulting in the lack of attention from the original family.However,in the environment of foster care and intergenerational rearing,there are often some phenomena such as lack of sense of belonging,lack of sense of security,low sense of self-efficacy and so on.These problems have always been an important category of social work practice research.Taking Chongqing h community as an example,this paper selects 9 left behind children in H community as the research object.Before the activity,through semistructured interview and scale measurement,it finds that the main problems are: lack of self-efficacy crisis,such as lack of self-confidence,lack of interpersonal skills,weak emotional management,behavioral withdrawal and so on.Secondly,under the guidance of the theory of self-efficacy,taking the path of self-efficacy as the basis of service design,six interventions were carried out in four aspects: personal mastery experience,alternative experience,verbal persuasion,physiological and emotional state.We hope that through group work intervention,we can help them improve their interpersonal skills,tap their own advantages and emotional management ability,rebuild their self-confidence and improve their self-efficacy.After the group activities,the effectiveness of the group activities was tested by qualitative evaluation,quantitative evaluation,group satisfaction evaluation and social workers' self-evaluation analysis.It was found that the self-efficacy of 9 left behind children in H community of Chongqing had increased.The results show that the team members' communication ability,interpersonal skills,emotional management ability and cognitive behavior have been significantly improved,especially in self-confidence.This study draws the following conclusions: firstly,group work is an effective means to improve the self-efficacy of left behind children.Secondly,the theory of self-efficacy has a strong guiding significance to improve the self-efficacy of left behind children.Finally,according to the whole process of practical activities,the paper reflects and discusses the group activities,hoping to help more left behind children grow up healthily through the self-efficacy promotion group.
