Along with the promotion of cooperative learning in the new curriculum reform,cooperative learning has been paid more and more attention in junior high school geography class.The aim of cooperative learning is that teachers as organizers of learning activities guide students to cooperate with each other to complete tasks and achieve the purpose of happy learning.With the in-depth study of cooperative learning in China,the methods and strategies of cooperative learning are constantly being improved.Scholars who have made more beneficial explorations in cooperative learning have found that cooperative learning can increase students' sense of class participation,enhance their sense of cooperation and deepen their understanding of geographical concepts.Junior high school is an important period for students' physical,intellectual and emotional development,and it is also the initial stage of students' contact with geography,which is crucial for the cultivation of learning methods and the establishment of cooperative consciousness.Therefore,the author hopes to put forward some strategies that are more suitable for the classroom teaching of junior high school geography cooperative learning and improve students' grades through the investigation and study of junior high school geography cooperative learning.It is for reference.Combining with my own teaching experience,using the methods of questionnaire,interview,classroom observation,the author selected 289 students from Grade One and Grade Two of Shenyang No.107 Middle School and 32 first-line geography teachers from Dadong District of Shenyang as the survey objects.Students' questionnaires are investigated from the perspectives of cooperative attitude awareness,cooperative skills,cooperative organization regulation,cooperative evaluation,benign changes,and comparative study among cooperative learning methods.Through the analysis of the questionnaire data,the feedback is as follows: Students have not realized the importance of cooperation;the attitude of participating in cooperative learning is not correct;students lack initiative;the training of cooperative skills is too single.Teachers' interview survey investigates teachers' cognition and attitude towards cooperative learning,organization and implementation of cooperative learning,and communication and cooperation among teachers.It is found that teachers do not have a deep understanding of cooperative learning;there is a lack of comparative research on cooperative learning strategies;teachers use a single cooperative learning strategy;there are still deficiencies in self positioning and evaluation methods in cooperative learning;there are still deficiencies in self positioning and evaluation methods in cooperative learning.Through the questionnaire survey,we found that the use of geography classroom cooperative learning in junior high school has good results,to improve students' interest in learning geography has a significant role in promoting.However,there are some problems in the implementation process,such as the lack of students' cooperative consciousness and cooperative skills,the low participation of students in cooperative learning,and the improper attitude towards cooperative learning Teachers' awareness and use of cooperative learning strategies are low,their use of cooperative learning strategies and evaluation methods are simple,and teachers' role orientation and strategy selection are not accurate Lack of communication and cooperation among teachers.Under the background of the new curriculum reform,this study highlights the comprehensiveness and practicality of geography subject,and is guided by the theory of Constructivism,the theory of Theory of multiple intelligences,etc.,in view of the current situation and problems of cooperative learning in geography teaching in junior middle school,this paper puts forward some strategies to improve the effect of cooperative learning.It mainly includes:(1)For students: Strengthen the self-monitoring of cooperative learning in geography classroom;Cooperative learning and independent thinking;Diversified cooperation among students;Attach importance to cultivating various cooperative skills.(2)For teachers.Improve the effectiveness of grouping methods;Teachers define their own position;Choose the appropriate cooperative learning content,reform the single activity mode,enhance the interest,and establish a perfect evaluation system(3)For school.Continue to improve the teaching evaluation system;Expand the concept of cooperation to families and schools.The innovations of this paper are as follows: Firstly,the author mainly investigates the cooperative learning situation in junior high school geography classroom and adds comparative forms to the application research of 35 cooperative learning strategies;Secondly,the author puts forward some countermeasures to improve the cooperative learning in junior high school geography classroom.
