As the executor and implementer of education,the initiative and enthusiasm of teachers in their work are closely related to the cultivation of talents.Junior high school teachers,in particular,are faced with teenagers who are in a critical period of growth and development,and bear more important tasks.Therefore,it is of practical significance to understand teachers' proactive career behavior for personal career development and social progress.Existing studies pay more attention to the influencing factors of employees' proactive career behavior,but there has never been a study on how to measure teachers' proactive career behavior,and the lack of mature measurement tools is not conducive to researchers to put forward corresponding suggestions for the development of teachers.This paper adopts the method of combining qualitative research and quantitative research to systematically explore the construction of the index system of junior high school teachers' proactive career behavior,the improvement of the index system,the development of measuring tools,characteristics and influence,which is divided into four studies.The first study is the construction of the index system.The method of in-depth interview and grounded theory are adopted to investigate the performance of junior high school teachers' proactive career behavior and explore its internal structure.The second study is the revision and improvement of the index system.This part has modified the evaluation index system through two expert consultations.The third study is the development of measurement tools.A formal questionnaire is formed by compiling a questionnaire and conducting reliability and validity test on the questionnaire.The fourth study is the features and influences.Through the investigation of the status quo,the author preliminarily understands the reality of the junior high school teachers' proactive career behavior and analyzes the influencing factors.In study 1,20 junior high school teachers were selected for in-depth interviews and recordings,including 12 females and 8 males,involving different disciplines.Nvivo 11.0 qualitative analysis software was used to analyze the text,and the interview data were encoded through the three-level coding method of grounded theory,and 243 open codes and 11 associative codes were concluded.The structure of junior high school teachers' proactive career behavior based on "development" was obtained,including four dimensions,namely career planning,teacher professional development,relationship network construction,and personal quality improvement.Delphi was conducted in Study 2.Firstly,according to the preliminary index system of junior high school teachers' proactive career behavior,the first round of expert consultation identity questionnaire "Research on Evaluation Index System Construction of Junior High School Teachers' Proactive Career Behavior Identity Survey(the first round)" was compiled.Then according to the data collected in the first round and expert opinions,the preliminary evaluation index system is revised.According to the revised evaluation index system of junior high school teachers' proactive career behavior,the second round of expert consultation recognition questionnaire was formed.Finally,according to the data collected in the second round and the feedback opinions of experts,the evaluation index system is modified again,and the index structure of the evaluation index system of junior high school teachers' proactive career behavior is constructed.In the third study,a questionnaire survey method(N=1372)was used to develop a measuring tool for junior high school teachers' proactive career behavior.The results show that:(1)junior high school teachers' proactive career behavior is a multi-dimensional structure,which is similar to the theoretical structure;(2)The questionnaire of junior high school teachers' proactive career behavior has good reliability and validity.The results show that the proactive career behavior of middle school teachers has different components and the questionnaire can be used as an effective tool to evaluate the level of the proactive career behavior of middle school teachers.In the fourth study,questionnaire survey method(N=906)was used to understand the current situation of junior high school teachers' proactive career behavior.The findings are as follows :(1)Overall,the level of proactive career behavior of junior high school teachers is relatively high,with a positive trend,but the average score of communication with leaders is the lowest,which is still a certain distance from the "relatively consistent" score of 5 points.Some junior high school teachers lack communication and communication with leaders;(2)There are significant differences in the level of junior high school teachers' proactive career behavior in age,gender,marital status,children's status and school type.It shows that the overall level of junior high school teachers' proactive career behavior is good,but the communication with leaders is weak,and is affected by demographic variables such as age,gender and so on.And age is an important demographic variable that can significantly influence the proactive career behavior of junior high school teachers.Through four series of studies,this paper has clarified the structure of junior high school teachers' proactive career behavior,compiled measurement tools of junior high school teachers' proactive career behavior,and explored its current situation and differences in demographic variables such as gender and age.
